Polls 10/12/08 (FiveThirtyEight.com)

From Now on the state polls will be coming from both fivethirtyeight.com and from electoral-vote.com: (Note that the polls are never repeated twice, this may result in one site not giving us anything on any given day.) National Polls will come from fivethirtyeight.com only. Because the two sites are slightly different I will publish both national scenarios in separate posts daily. The "win percentage" means the percent likelyhood that one or the other of the candidates wins the electoral college.

More Merger Rumors?

Ford and GM have apparently held talks in the past few years on mergers. Maybe the big 2.8 as The Truth About Cars calls them should combine into the Big 1 and then make everything, we can call them General fordsler. General Fordsler would then be forced to sink or swim once and for all.
